LATEST NEWS

The past few months remind me of the title of one of the Little House books -- THE LONG WINTER. It was freezin'! We had snow one day here in So Cal and students were going crazy building snowmen under the palms to take pictures before their Frosties melted. Now spring is breezing by, and you can feel summer in the blazing afternoons. At the end of June the first book of the Wicked Series in my new Boscastle trilogy will be released. WICKED AS SIN (originally THE SINS OF SIR GABRIEL BOSCASTLE) is the book readers have been asking for ever since Gabriel was introduced as the bad Boscastle cousin who grew up on the fringes of his infamous London family. This gambler intrigued me from the start. Like many of you I wanted to know who he really was. His story ended up being deeper and more emotional than I expected.

Right now I'm supposed to be working on WICKED AT THE WEDDING, second in the series about one of Gabriel's long-lost brothers. But the warm weather is luring me outside ... and I am weak. The hummingbirds and hydrangeas are too distracting. This year, probably because we had so much rain, we have hundreds of butterflies hatching in the garden. They've laced their silky cocoons around the rosemary and French lavender on the slope. My youngest daughter said that they are magic. And they are.

Warmly,

Jillian
